Challenge – The client owned a public house situated in an affluent area of Loughborough. It was identified that the public house had surplus land, since the car park was excessive for the site. Residential values in the area were high, and the client was looking for a strategy to maximise this surplus land, after considering all options.
Outcomes – Assured Property attained planning permission to build a residential development at the back of the existing pub. The site was then sold to a local builder for £140k.
