Challenge – The client owned a public house in a village which had been closed for some time and boarded up. A retailer had approached the client regarding their interest in occupying the site and had previously made indicative offers. The client was looking for a strategy to maximise value by delivering a scheme for the retailer.
Outcomes – Assured Property negotiated and completed the sale to the regional Co-op and then obtained the detailed planning permission for the scheme to progress as well as managing all party wall and relating matters with the adjoining property owner. The whole project was managed to completion of the build and ultimate sale for in excess of £1.1.million.
