7 Simple Questions to Ensure you Get the Most Value from your Property

Before making key strategic or long term decisions regarding your property holdings, you should carry out a thorough and in-depth review of all your options.  Finding the answer to these simple questions should put you on the right path to make sure you are getting the most value from your assets.

  1. What have I got?

In order to determine the best possible use of your site, you have to take into consideration its essential statistics. These include site and building sizes, population profiles, distances to other amenities, residential values, and rental levels amongst other.

  1. What options and alternative uses would work?

These sites statistics can then reveal what uses would be appropriate for the site and what you should consider in your feasibility and assessment studies.  Consideration should be given to multiple uses of existing properties, for example residential in upper parts or development on surplus land, as well as full or part conversions or complete new builds.

  1. Who would be interested?

Once the uses have been identified, they need ratification through a comprehensive and targeted marketing campaign to all national and regional end users and occupiers who would be interested in the property,  » Read more

Quorn Convenience Store Development Open and Trading

A new Central England Cooperative convenience store is now open and trading in Quorn. Following an options analysis it was decided the best strategy was to convert the restaurant to a 4000 sqft supermarket with flats above. We engaged directly with the retailer after they informed us that Quorn was an area they wanted to be in and had therefore purchased the restaurant site.

Assured Property Group managed the development of the convenience store from demolition through to completion.

“Working with Assured Property Group to deliver a mixed-use development in Quorn, comprising a new Central England Co-operative convenience store and three 2 bedroomed apartments was an enjoyable experience; the whole team were very supportive and professional throughout.

The various challenges that inevitably arose during the development planning and build phases were always attended to quickly and resolved in a very satisfactory manner. I would certainly recommend the Assured team to others and hope to work with them again in the near future; All the CEC team are very pleased with the outcome of the Quorn scheme. “
